Isidore Newman School students plant trees in Jean Lafitte National Historic Park-Barataria Unit Thursday, January 19, 2012. This project is acts as a buffer, lessening the effects of hurricanes. 120 students along with 35 parent volunteers planted 900 trees at Jean Lafitte.
Good job Coco! This is a very important activity in southern Louisiana.
