Traffic has come to a near standstill on the elevated West Bank Expressway as east bank bound motorists headed to the Crescent City Connecton are contending twith two accidents. According to a Crescent City Connection police dispatcher, one wreck at Claiborne Avenune on the lakebound Ponchartrain Expressway has blocked two lanes of traffic.
Meanwhile, drivers on the elevated West Bank Expressway also are being delayed by another wreck near the Terry Parkway exit.
