French Quarter Festival begins Thursday with Locals Lagniappe Day

This weekend in downtown New Orleans will host a festival known as the French Quater Festival. Throughout the weekend, over 150 bands will play on 20 stages, most of which are from New Orleans and play this style of music. The festival is free and there are over 60 different food vendors selling a variety of treats. Due to the number of bands and their easy accessibility, the French Quarter festival is a great way to experience New Orleans culture.
